CLUB NEWS

RV CLUB

Any resident with an RV who is interested in attending rallies is welcome to join our club. Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, MARCH 6th at 2:00 P.M. in the Bingo area. Please note the change of date to the first Tuesday of the month due to Residents Day on the 13th. We'll be finalizing plans for the March rally to Orlando. Also, tickets will be on sale for our season-ending barbeque to be held on April 7th.

Forty-three RVs attended our February rally to the Lee Civic Center in Ft. Myers. All who attended seemed to enjoy the rally. This is a great facility for a rally, and there is so much to do in the Ft. Myers area. Our rally package included three nights of camping, two full breakfasts and two dinners.

The last night we had a round of beef dinner followed by entertainment recommended to us by the Civic Center. The name of the duo was "Le Deux." They do a lot of country music, and were really very good. They had everyone up there doing the Line Dance and the Electric Slide.

On Wednesday evening we split the group, and went out to two restaurants for dinner. Two Happy Hours were held, and at each one we did a 50/50 drawing to benefit the Cancer Drive here in Tanglewood. We were pleased to be able to give a check for $400 to the American Cancer Society from the RV Club.
