December 10th: Special Events will again sponsor “Harry Havery and his Kids Christmas Show” for the 3rd year. Harry is one of Sebring’s finest entertainers and he works with his own children plus a neighbor boy (on piano) putting this show together. If you haven’t attended on of their shows your in for a true Holiday treat. Sunday December 10, at 7 P.M. Cost is just a donation for the kids, it helps support their Holiday Vacation. You get the Christmas joy! Open to all residents.
December 17th: The Special Events Committee presents “The Marlins”. These brothers perform using over 30 instruments and promise to entertain you all with music from the Beach Boys, the Beatles, Willie Nelson, Glen Miller, Neil Diamond, Elvis, Sinatra, Santana, and more! Come and enjoy this Christmas Season musical show. All seats $8.00 or on your season ticket.
Friday January 5th: We will have a 1 day Showcase of Talent with up to 20 entertainers auditioning to central Florida Entertainment Directors. This day of auditions will be open with free admittance for Tanglewood residents and park directors/committees with invitations only. Tanglewood Special Events will sell lunch/drink items, as there will be no breaks in the auditions. We will be using the three stages as we have the past 6 years. Do to the anticipated large audience it will be imperative talking in the hall will be curtailed allowing the entertainers to present their talents to the buyers of talent. This day is a nice perk for the residents of Tanglewood but a lot of work for volunteers.
Sunday January 7th: Special Events will present Margo Smith and Rodeo Drive. This is one of Florida’s finest show bands. From Disney to the White House, from NASCAR to Switzerland Margo and her group has entertained thousands around the world.
