A happy, smiling group of fourteen new residents gathered in the clubhouse on February 1st for the monthly Welcome Orientation Coffee. Five of the new couples were from Ohio and Michigan. That is probably while they were smiling. They escaped the cold and snow.
Anxious to hear all about their new home, they listened intently to Tom McKeever as he gave them the highlights of the many activities, social functions and volunteer committees that keep our programs operating smoothly. Other subjects covered were management rules and Neighborhood Watch. February and March are very busy months here at Tanglewood, so we encourage everyone to get out and partake of the fun.
Look for these new neighbors in the Picture Trail and when you see new residents moving in, make a friend. We hope everyone will keep Tanglewood the friendliest neighborhood in Florida.
The Welcome Committee was formed to help new residents feel at home. If you have questions about anything here or in the Sebring area we will do our best to help. If you look for a smiling, sun sign in front of a Tanglewood home, you will find a Welcome committee member. Feel free to stop in with your question. You may even make a new friend.
The next Welcome Orientation will be Thursday, March 1st at 10 am in the Clubhouse. Anyone who has not attended before is invited.
Below are a few tips from the Welcome Committee that we think will make your activity experience at Tanglewood more enjoyable:
We are very happy to have you as neighbors and hope you will find your days at Tanglewood filled with enjoyment.
