Tanglewood is returning to its hustling, active, friend filled place as many winter residents; RV visitors and new residents fill the park with warm hellos, hugs and catch up chats.
The November 2nd Welcome Orientation was attended by 44 new residents happy to be in their winter home with the looming winter left far behind. Twenty five were new residents of Dream Catcher, eleven from the Outback and the rest from Bayside, Big Sky and Wildflower. They come from many of the northern states and we are glad they chose Tanglewood as their new home.
Those in attendance were:
Sherman and Marilyn Salberg, Jake and Janet Glauben, John and Sandra Stephan, Mark and Jeannine Telfer, Barry and Suzanne Butler, Nile and Betty Lahr, Don and Jeannie Tucker, David and Barby Wagner, Howard and Delores Kennedy, David and Maryann Brown, Phoebe Ryehan, Bob and Nancy White, Don and Dana Stone, Walter and Nancy Wagner, Rich and Ruth LaMar, Bill and Pat Sideravage, Keith and Mary Hatfield, Dan and Barb Blouw, John & Bonnie Myrto, Jake and Liz Doyle, Zelmer and Mary Banks, Norman and Auroye Boisclair, Jerrie Shepard. You can find their picture on Picture Trail.
At the orientation they were offered, along with coffee and pastries, a wealth of information about Tanglewood activities, special entertainment, churches, doctor and hospitals, and the Sebring area. This is a wonderful time to get involved in one of the many activities. Already there are three new activities forming and there are sure to be more. You cannot be bored living here, there is something for everyone.
The Welcome Committee is here to help New Residents get better acquainted with how our park runs, so if you have any questions feel free to stop at a house where you see the yellow smiling sun sign in the front yard. There you will find a friendly person to help you.
The next Welcome Orientation will be Thursday, Dec. 7th at 10 am in the Clubhouse. Anyone who has not attended before is invited.
Below are a few tips from the Welcome Committee that we think will make your activity experience at Tanglewood more enjoyable:
We are very happy to have you as neighbors and hope you will find your days at Tanglewood filled with enjoyment.
