A BIG WARM WELCOME TO ALL OUR NEW RESIDENTS

Tanglewood is returning to its hustling, active, friend filled place as many winter residents; RV visitors and new residents fill the park with warm hellos, hugs and catch up chats.

The November 2nd Welcome Orientation was attended by 44 new residents happy to be in their winter home with the looming winter left far behind. Twenty five were new residents of Dream Catcher, eleven from the Outback and the rest from Bayside, Big Sky and Wildflower. They come from many of the northern states and we are glad they chose Tanglewood as their new home.

At the orientation they were offered, along with coffee and pastries, a wealth of information about Tanglewood activities, special entertainment, churches, doctor and hospitals, and the Sebring area. This is a wonderful time to get involved in one of the many activities. Already there are three new activities forming and there are sure to be more. You cannot be bored living here, there is something for everyone.

The Welcome Committee is here to help New Residents get better acquainted with how our park runs, so if you have any questions feel free to stop at a house where you see the yellow smiling sun sign in the front yard. There you will find a friendly person to help you.

The next Welcome Orientation will be Thursday, Dec. 7th at 10 am in the Clubhouse. Anyone who has not attended before is invited.

TANGLEWOOD TIPS

Below are a few tips from the Welcome Committee that we think will make your activity experience at Tanglewood more enjoyable:

• Please try and remember to wear your badge when attending functions, so that we can determine that you are a resident. Especially at the fire rings and outings where we are giving away beer or free food. The rule to remember is no badge, no beer. Also if you are playing cards and there is money involved you must have your badge to collect. A badge is must at bingo.
• Here's a tip for bringing your own place settings for meals at the clubhouse. If you pay for a ticket you do not need to bring your own place settings. Pot luck you must bring your own dishes, and a dish enough for twelve people.
• Check your calendar for all events. The bulletin board up at the clubhouse is kept up to date. The sign up books on the table will tell you all that is going on and you can sign up for what you want. The golf sign up is also on that same table.
• Come to coffee on Monday and meet your neighbors and keep up to date with the goings on.

We are very happy to have you as neighbors and hope you will find your days at Tanglewood filled with enjoyment.
